American Numismatic Association
Founded in 1891, the ANA has since grown to become an invaluable resource for collectors, researchers, and enthusiasts alike. With their mission to promote the hobby of numismatics, the ANA offers educational programs, conventions, publications, and online resources aimed at fostering knowledge and camaraderie within the numismatic community.
Coin Grading
A guide to professional coin grading written by one of the industry leaders in coin grading, ANACS, and authored by ANACS’s Senior Numismatist, J.P. Martin. This is a thorough and informative brochure on coin grading and is a must see for all coin collectors and numismatists.
American Numismatic Society
Founded in 1858, The American Numismatic Society is dedicated to the study and appreciation of numismatics and has assembled a permanent collection of more than 800,000 coins, monetary objects, medals, and other related items dating back to 2000 BCE. The specialized library contains approximately 100,000 books, documents, and artifacts that are among the finest of such resources. The Society is also a global leader and innovator in the development of digital numismatic resources and is one of the largest publishers of scholarly numismatic research, enjoyed by its members, fellows, and the public at large.
Newman Numismatic Portal
The Newman Numismatic Portal is located at Washington University in St. Louis and funded by the Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. The NNP is dedicated to becoming the primary and most comprehensive resource for numismatic research and reference material, initially concentrating on U.S. Coinage and Currency.
